Nancy loves to wander...and engage. Her curious nature led her to a camera and it became her tool of exploration both externally and internally over the years. While Nancy uses photography to engage and learn about herself and the world, her tendency is towards capturing essence.
Both extensive travel and higher education have broadened Nancy's photographic eye. She received her MSW and has worked as a social worker and psychotherapist. Nancy's career path furthered her understanding of social environment and the deeper nature of realities.
Nancy’s photography and vision continue to expand and she is currently working on several projects. The most current, Ancestral Abodes is a personal reflection on her emotional bonds to her heritage as seen through the homes of her relatives in North Carolina.
